Let's Take A Long Walk Through the Ancient City of Kamakura, Japan.

Are you in Japan and looking for a special walking experience that is only one hour from Tokyo?

Kamakura is a coastal town only one hour south of Tokyo where temples, backstreets, and forest paths meet the sea.

Once home to the samurai today it’s a place to slow down and listen to the waves.

Let me take you on a serene journey through the ancient forested hills and winding trails of this place.

Together we will leave behind the noise of the world out there. Along the way we will pause for mindful moments as we enjoy traditional architecture and stunning forests.

What's In A Walk?

A walk can be many things

A quiet conversation or a shared silence under the trees. This isn’t a tour, there’s no script.

We follow the day, noticing what’s around us, and maybe what’s within. Whether it’s your first time in Kamakura or you’re returning, come walk with open eyes and an open mind.

Weather

Every walk in Kamakura is a little different. The seasons shift the light and the mood. Summer can be very hot but still beautiful in its own way. Just remember to dress comfortably and we’ll take it at an easy pace.

Group Size

For the best experience walking groups are limited to no more than 3 people. Each booking is exclusive so that you will be with me only.

Activity Options

In general our time together will be focussed on walking. However if you want to take photographs, sketch, or look more closely at architecture or other things just let me know when you make your booking and I can weave this in to our experience.
